$2k for the Zatanna jam piece by Jim Lee, $1,5k for a Goon page by Eric Powell, $1,2k for the Flash page by Irv Novick, $1,3k for a “sexy” Betty commission by Dan De Carlo, a Books of Magic illustration by Kaluta for $1,3k.
$1,1k for a Two Face commission by Art Adams, $1k for the Angela page by Greg Capullo, $950 for a Conan page by John Buscema, $900 for the Beta Ray Bill prelim by Walt Simonson, $900 for a nice 1958 Polly And her Pals Sunday by Sterrett.
Heritage Weekly Auction: HA record equaled for Ron Wilson at $26k paid for the Two in One cover, very high prices for the Fury pages by Kirby, $21k and $19k, $9k for a complete set of Glynis Wein X-Men color guides over Byrne art, $8k for the Spidey Uk cover by Milgrom, $4k for the Black Kiss page by Chaykin.
Good prices for the Jimmy Olsen page by Kirby, sold for $3,5k, $2,6k for the Thing page by Starlin, $900 and $800 for two Terry strips by Caniff.
Catawiki: €54k for the Gaston illustration by Franquin, €4,6k for the Bouncer page by Boucq, €3k for the prelims by Gimenez, €3k for the Tintin page by Rodier, €2,6k for the Blake & Mortimer page by Juillard, €750 for the Sybilline page by Macherot.

ComicLink premium section: In the first days of January I went to the CL website to mark the date of the next auction (Feb. 9th), like I do every month. What I didn’t realize was that the best pieces would go to auction on Jan 16th inside a “premium section”, so here we are with the results, hope you weren’t searching for one of these pages…
A Star Wars cover by Budiansky went for a low $4,7k, a Galactus page by Byrne for $6,7k, a Phoenix cover by J. Scott Campbell for $6,2k, an early TMNT page for $6k, this JLA splash by Jim Lee went not so high at $15k, an Aquaman splash for $3,6k, Thanos by Ron Lim for $7,6k, a Captain America page by John Romita for $4,6k, some X-Men pages by JRJR, like this DPS sold for $5k, look at this Trimpe page, with Spidey taking pictures of Godzilla, sold for $3,5k.
Heritage Garfield Auction: highest price was $1,9k for a 1980 Sunday, $1,8k for a licensing pinup, $1,7k for a 1983 daily. Plenty of good deals, like $600 for post-2000 Sunday strips, $600 for early licensing pinups, $600 for early dailies.
Three Prince Valiant single panels by Hal Foster were sold for a pretty low $3,5k at Nadeau’s Auctions.
