No big auctions this week, but there are some vintage DC pages on eBay and some top pieces on Heritage.
eBay: $2k for a JLA page by Jim Lee, $1,8k was a good deal for such a nice Avengers page by Byrne, a little less for the G.I. Joe page by Trimpe, $1,6k for the Spidey page by Silvestri and for a Cerebus page, the Conan with umbrella pinup by Buscema for $1,5k.
$1,1k for the Moon Knight cover by Burrows, $1k for the Batman sketch by Jim Lee, the Hero for Hire page by Tuska and a vintage She-Hulk commission by Adam Hughes.
Heritage Weekly Auction: $17k for a Fantastic Four splash by Al Milgrom, %7,5k for the OMAC page by Byrne, $6k for a Action Comics #1 recreation by Moldoff, $3,8k for the X-Men page by Joe Mad.
Two strips went very high, $1,5k for a Hagar daily and a On Stage daily. Consider that another Hagar strip was sold for $800.
Catawiki: €3,3k for the Franquin drawing, €2,2k for a page of Druuna studies by Serpieri, €700 is not a bad deal for a Conan page by John Buscema, €650 for the Batman commission by Gabriele Dell’Otto, €350 for the Kamasultra page by Jacovitti, €250 for the Dylan Top by Mottura.
Philip Weiss Auctions: $33k for a complete early Frazetta story, $25k and $21k for the Peanuts strips. The highest paid Kubert cover was this one, that was sold for $13k, $6k for the Wolverine illustration, $4,5k for the page by Andy, $4k for the Rocket Raccoon page by Mignola.
Sotheby’s Persepolis Auction: high prices but also 9/26 pieces unsold, a splash went for £19k, the frontispiece for £10k, the highest price for panel pages was £8k.

DC: A Sgt. Rock page by Joe Kubert, a Tomahawk page by Frank Thorne, an Aquaman page by Jim Aparo, Wonder Woman by Don Heck, two quick Batman/Joker sketches by Tim Sale are getting a lot of bids.
A big lot of rare Charlton original art, a Ghost Manor cover and a Yang page by Sanho Kim, two Phantom pages by Don Newton, a Sarge Steel page by Jim Aparo, two Flash Gordon pages by Pat Boyette.
There are a lot of fake sketches this week, the funniest is this seller who has no idea how to hold a pen. I can’t decide which one between this Wolverine and this Batman by “Jim Lee” makes me laugh more. The Wolverine also has three bids…
