Fake town: a Batman painting by “bob kane” was sold for $1k. I remember the name of the “certifier” was the account famous in the early 00’s for selling peanuts sketches made with wax pastels, do you remember them?. Seems an example of a forged piece changing hands many years after the fact.
Another Batman pinup sold for $2k was probably not drawn by Kane, like everything he produced, but the lettering style and signature look real, so at least he signed it.
Our friendly forger sold the awful “byrne” art for a very high $1,7k, the sketchbook full of badly drawn sketches for $800.
