A new year just started and we’re ready to dive again in our passion for Original Comic Art!

Very high results for original comic art on ebay, we also take a deep look at last week’s Heritage Signature Auction results, with many records for original art by: Neal Adams, Jack Kirby (twice!), Jim Starlin and many more.

The Christie’s auction went also very well with a total sale of almost $3,5 millions. Hergé, Juillard, Franquin and all the classic artists went for big money.

Many new auctions, this week for original comic art collectors! On eBay we have some bronze age pieces by Buscema, Andru, Milgrom Trimpe, Perlin… and ten great original Batman sketches by Chris Samnee.

I also start digging into the Signature Auction from Heritage, hundreds of pieces worth looking at. Spider-Man original art by Steve Ditko and John Romita, some incredible pieces by Jack Kirby, an Historic Neal Adams Batman cover, and also the complete first appearance story of Judge Dredd drawn by Mick McMahon!

If that wasn’t enough we also look at high end European original comic art in Christie’s new auction.
